Sleep Monitor Lets You Test for Sleep Apnea

The smallest and lightest portable sleep monitor in the market has just been released. This FDA-approved device has been designed for patients to easily and conveniently test for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) from the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

Sleep apnea runs deeper than just interrupting a person’s breathing patterns while he or is she asleep. If left undiagnosed, health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attack, sexual dysfunction, heart failure, reflux disease, gestational disease, stroke, depression and more may arise.

The SleepView Monitor is composed of three parts: the Respiratory Effort Belt (secured around the patient’s chest), the Nasal Cannula (for insertion into the nose; it is then connected to the monitor), and the Pulse OX Sensor (for the index fingers).

Results are then recorded and brought to a qualified physician for interpretation by board-certified sleep physicians.
